AT621 Calculation


This web site was designed as an interface to run the Tropospheric Ultraviolet-Visible (TUV) radiation model, Version 4.1, July 2000, by Madronich et al. This code is generously distributed, without any warranty, to interested users and has been modified for purposes of this present application. The TUV source code may be downloaded from here.

This application will compute photolysis rates of a selected reaction at a specified location (lat/lon/alt). The altitude level of the calculation ranges from 0 (surface) to level 80 (80 km above specified surface), in 1 km increments. You may specify either a calculation for a given time (UTC), or for a desired time interval (specify starting time, time step, and number of time steps). If you do not choose a time-dependent calculation, the time step and number of steps are not needed.
