Lodging Information

The Conference organizers have arranged for availability of two types of housing:

  • on campus accommodations, which include a meal plan, on-campus parking, and access to the CSU Recreation Center ** ON CAMPUS HOUSING NOW FILLED **
  • off campus accommodations, at the nearby Fort Collins Hilton, with additional close-in options also available. Your registration includes on-campus parking and internet access, but no meal plan or CSU Recreation Center access.

You will have the opportunity to book on-campus accommodations when you register for the meeting. Off-campus hotel rooms must be booked separately, on your own, using the links below or via phone. Please be advised that hotel rooms in Fort Collins in the summertime fill up rapidly, so early booking is advised.

The Hilton Fort Collins is the official Conference Hotel; it is the closest hotel to the Conference near the CSU campus. Pricing for room block rates are: $119.00/night for a single, $129.00/night for double occupancy, $139.00/night for triple occupancy, $149.00/night for quad occupancy. If you are a student, there is a special discount, but rooms at this rate are limited to a first-come-first-serve basis. To get the student rate, please call Erik Spruiell at 1-970-494-2948. You must show a valid student ID at the time of check-in. (The prices listed do not include tax.) The Hilton offers complimentary shuttle service to anywhere in Fort Collins. The Hilton only has discounted rooms until May 16, 2013.

The Best Western University Inn also has rooms set aside for this conference. Discounted rooms are $79.00/night which includes a deluxe continental breakfast. (The prices listed do not include tax.) Available rooms are limited, so please make reservations for the "2013 CSU Atmospheric Science Conference" by phone as soon as possible as soon as possible by calling 1-888-484-2984 or emailing Ellen Rotunno at ellen@bwui.com. The Best Western only has discounted rooms until June 1, 2013.

The Armstrong Hotel has rooms available for this conference at a discounted rate for the nights of June 23-27. Discounted standard rooms are $84.00/night for a queen room or $129.00/night for two bedroom suites. If you choose to stay on Friday evening, those costs will be $159.00/night for a queen room or $179.00/night for two bedroom suites. (The prices listed do not include tax.) Guests have unlimited access to the nearby Old Town Athletic Club.
