NSF Travel Grant Applications (U.S. Residents)
We are pleased to announce that we are now ready to accept applications for travel grant funding that we anticipate receiving from the US National Science Foundation. This funding is specifically targeted to those resident in the U.S. Applicants must be a presenting author on a submitted extended abstract in order to be eligible. Preference is given to applicants who are graduate students. Preference is given to Ph.D. students. Postdoctoral scientists and other research scientists will be considered for awards if unusual need can be demonstrated.
Please contact Paul DeMott (pdemott@lamar.colostate.edu), with a copy to Sonia Kreidenweis (sonia@atmos.colostate.edu) in order to receive an application form.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GRANTS:
Applications are also being accepted for a limited number of travel grants supported by the IUGG. These grants will provide partial support of costs (registration fees and/or lodging expenses) for international attendees, especially for younger scientists and those with demonstrated need who might not otherwise be able to attend. Contact Paul DeMott (pdemott@lamar.colostate.edu) for the application form.
MAY 2013: All travel grants have now been awarded.
